DySiWiP - Dynamic simulation models for high-temperature heat pumps for total system simulation of industrial processes

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The aim of this study is to develop simulation models which allow for the dynamic simulation of high-temperature compression heat pumps within overall system simulations by means of "digital twins" of industrial processes. Currently used dynamic models of compression heat pumps require a high parameterization and computational effort due to their complexity, which is why they are only suitable for use in overall system simulations to a limited extent. For this reason, existing complex models will be simplified as far as possible in this project, and new modelling approaches will be applied in order to set-up simplified simulation models that reflect accurately enough the dynamic behaviour of high-temperature heat pumps for overall system simulations.
