Project Details

Description

Flux cored welding wires represent a (relatively) new kind of welding consumables. They promise a steady growth in market-shares. It is the objective of this project to improve the properties of this wires by using the following methods: - Constant product properties by improved production techniques - FE-Simulation of the production process - Accompanying deployment of rasterelectron microscopy in development and production - Development of electrical measurement techniques for improved valuation of the welding behaviour.
