Controller Design for Automotive Drive-train Testbed Systems

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Engine dynamometers are playing an important role in the design process of new motor vehicles. These testbeds are challenging multivariable systems typically consisting of the device under test (combustion engine, gearbox, etc.) and an electro-dynamic actor/brake. The aim is the reproduction of different driving conditions (i.e. as specified by standardised transient test cycles).
