Description
This project aims to develop biochips for the parallel determination of different enzymes in biological samples. The current focus is on microarrays carrying specific ligands for lipolytic enzymes. On the other hand ordered arrays of enzymes are generated for screening activity and selectivity on substrate(analog)s. Binding is detected by a fluorescence signal. Future applications can be foreseen in biotechnology and medicine.
