Description
Binder an concrete technology is the oldest permanent research topic of the institute and the attached testing and research laboratory. The development of new cements, additives and admixtures and the growing importance of environmental protection, sustainability and life-cycle planning have led to new technologies for concretes and mortars (self compacting concrete, polymer modified mortars, high performance concrete, fibre reinforced concrete) but also to new questions with regard to sustainability and envrionmental effects.Several resarch acivities during the report periond fell in this area.
