Battery materials: Structure and charging processes

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Battery materials are studied at the Institute of Materials Physics by the defect specific technique of positron annihilation. In addition, magnetometry is used in order to study charging and discharging processes of battery electrodes. A particular focus is on in-situ techniques which allow to monitor the electronic and chemical processes during chargind and discharging.
