Description

Archeometry is the development and use of scientific methods in order to answer questions concerned with the history of civilization. It includes natural sciences, like chemistry, physics, biosciences as well as geosciences and archeological sciences, like history of art, preservation and repair of ancient monuments. The topic of this investigation is the mineralogical characterization of roman ceramics in order to separate various production districts in the area of Süd-Noricum.
