Description
Thin layers on the surface of pollen of Callopsis volkensii are analyzed by means of analytical electron microscopy. The specimens are prepared by ultramicrotomy and analyzed by EDXS- and EELS-spectrometry in the TEM. It was found that the layers consist of organic material.
