The aim of this project is the development of a holistic maintenance system and a corresponding prototype. Based on existing operating data the system enables a condition based maintenance strategy. Further, based on current inventory levels and demands it also enables a risk based maintenance strategy. The evaluation of possible gains performed in the first part (A) of the projects clearly reveals great potentials to predict machine failure in the near future. Hence, the algorithms and methods (Smart Data Analyzer SMADA) to predict machine failures developed in part A of the project will be subject of further research and ideally should be automatized. This enables an optimal integration of SMADA in maintenance strategies and processes.
