Description
Aerodynamics play a mojor role in many sports, besides anthropometrics and biomechanics, and may decide upon winning or loosing. The investigations within this working area are mainly directed towards basic aerodynamic questions. A further goal is the development of improved aerodynamic behaviour in order to save human resources. With respect to many dangerous kinds of sports, the work focuses on safety and health enhancement strategies based on aerodynamic considerations.
