Mind the Gap

Within the Code'n'stitch Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) FEMtech project, the learning app Pocket Code was extended by the possibility to program an embroidery machine. This new approach to programming and embroidery offers especially teenage girls new access to the IT world and inspires them for technology. The project made girls the focus of the development and, as the final step, we were able to launch the specially developed app "Embroidery Designer" on the market as a free and also advertising-free app.
