Short Description: The “Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communication” of Graz University of Technology has established the “Stiftung Secure Information and Communication Technologies SIC”, dedicating a fund of 2.320.000 €, aiming at encouraging independent scientific research, development as well as teaching and knowledge transfer in the fields of applied information processing, communication and information security. This “Stiftung Secure Information and Communication Technologies SIC” has been declared admissible by notification from the “Stiftungsbehörde Fachabteilung FA7C“ – “Innere Angelegenheiten, Staatsbürgerschaft und Aufenthaltswesen – Landesstiftungen und –Fonds” on February 5, 2003 (legal effect on February 13, 2003). The regulations of the foundation and its authenticated approval have been filed in the “Willbriefsammlung des Steiermärkischen Landesarchivs unter LReg. Vertrag Nr. 5509”.
