Profile Information

The main research activities of the Institute of Medical Engineering are related to the development of advanced electronic devices, intelligent instrumentation, modeling and simulation of physiological systems and development of technical aids for handicapped people. Special fields of interest are cardiac telemonitoring including pacemaker technology, hemodialysis, computer assisted therapy management and impedance-based diagnostic tools. The department cooperates within the SFB "Optimization and Control ".

Fingerprint The fingerprint is based on mining the text of the scientific documents related to the associated persons. Based on that an index of weighted terms is created, which defines the key subjects of research unit
