Description

A model order reduction method to recursively generate a Cauer ladder network from finite element solutions
is applied to an industrial inductor to determine its behavior in a broad frequency range. The effect of the mesh on the
precision of the reduced order model is investigated. It is also shown that different meshes are suitable for approximating
the impedance and for representing the electrical and magnetical field patterns.
