Abstract
The excitation spectra of strong coupling Hubbard Hamiltonian is obtained by using variational Monte Carlo method. In 1D the numerical result agrees very well with the exact results obtained by Bethe Ansatz. In 2D the spin excitations obtained are compared favorably with the results obtained by directly diagonalizing a finite size system for a half-filled band.
