Abstract

Although γ/η-Mo4O11 and Mo2Ta2O11 are used ina variety of industrial applications and can easily be synthesizedin a chemical vapour transport (CVT) process orreactions in silica ampoules, respectively, only few dataare available concerning their physical properties. Inthis paper, we further explore the properties of the threecompounds with respect to their thermal and magneticbehavior, surface composition, and Raman spectroscopicproperties.Keywords: heat
