abstract = "A new measurement system has been created for investigation of non-contact electrostatic discharge(ESD). An automotive control section of gas pressure was designed to meet the requirement of the new invented ESD measurement system. Experiment result with the new ESD measurement system shown that gas pressure and relative humidity have distinctive effect on peak value, rise/fall time of discharge current. Some possible mechanism was discussed for the influence of gas pressure and relative humidity. On-off state of solenoid valve was decided once received feedback signal from sensor through applying PID algorithm to output PWM impulse. Desired stable value can be obtained and improved performance of the new ESD measurement system.",
