The invention relates to processes for the prepn. of 7-amino-3-alkenylcephem-4-carboxylic acid (I) and the compds. II and III by using the enzymes p-nitrobenzyl esterase and penicillin G amidase. The processes either start from the compd. I or the compd. of Formula III.
