Projektdetails

Beschreibung

Conjugated polymers such as poly(p-phenylene) (PPP), poly(p-phenylene vinylene)s (PPVs) and poly(thiophenes) are in the focus of academic and industrial research, due to their outstanding material properties and their potential to be used in several thin-film device-types. Many possible applications, such as all-polymer integrated electronic circuits, photodetectors and solar cells, lasers, flat-panel emissive displays fabricated from polymer light emitting devices as well as sensors in biological systems have already been realized. The reason for the large success of this class of materials is that it posseses the electrical and optical properties of metals and semiconductors with the processing advantages and mechanical properties of plastics. It is the purpose of this project to develope novel organic optoelecronic devices
