Indoor localization is an important prerequisite for navigation inside buildings, large enclosed environments (e.g. tunnels, underground stations). A universal solution for this problem, similar to global positioning systems is far from being theoretically understood, solved or even commercially available. In this project we will address the detailed modelling of wireless indoor wave propagation for mobile users and based on this localization algorithms are being developed and tested.
